Playing with your baby shouldn’t feel complicated - and that’s where The Little Sensory Box comes in. They help you overcome the overwhelm with a carefully curated, easy-to-navigate collection of sensory toys and activities to ignite little senses and inspire play. As the owners of TLSB say, “you don’t need a bottomless bank account or qualification in early-years teaching!” They literally do it all for you. Offering age-appropriate, quarterly subscription boxes, they’ve really spotted a gap in the market for overwhelmed new parents. Also stocking some big-named toy brands including Petit Boum and Lamaze, TLSB has gone from strength to strength after their change of ownership at the beginning of 2022. After the original founder, Dee, attended The Ecommerce Accelerator, I felt a close connection & had knowledge about the brand prior to managing their emails.

Co-founder Laura approached me saying “can you just do my emails for me, please?” so that’s what we did! With a heavy focus on nurturing customers with the end goal being a long-term subscription we started with their flows, creating targeted emails per age range and highlighting their USPs. One of the challenges we faced (as you’ll see a drop in their subscribers in the results below) was that their list included many subscribers who were no longer their target demographic and therefore were no longer engaged. Some of their subscribers had simply outgrown the brand. So I also implemented a re-engagement campaign and clean up of their list which in turn dramatically improved their metrics moving forward. Following that we had clear goals to increase general toy sales by 20% across the year and optimise their sign up form to consistently drive new subscribers.
